DGP Mr.CV Anand Attended as the Chief Guest at MEE SURAKSHA – Kalasi Unte Kaladu Sukham, a programme organised by Malkajgiri Police.This initiative is aimed at promoting family harmony, strengthening marital relationships and encouraging the peaceful resolution of family disputes through counselling and mediation.The programme brought together over 150 reunited couples and their family members whose relationships were restored through the efforts of the CDEW Family Counselling Centres. Their stories stand as a testament to the power of dialogue, empathy and timely intervention in rebuilding trust between the couples.
Spoke about the Govt’s unwavering commitment to the safety, dignity and empowerment of women and children through initiatives such as SHE Teams, Bharosa Centres, Women Police Stations, Anti-Human Trafficking Units, She Shuttles and Family Counselling Centres, which together provide a comprehensive framework of prevention, protection, support and rehabilitation."In today’s fast-changing society, mutual respect, understanding and support between spouses are essential for a happy and successful family life." said Mr.Anand
DGP Appreciated the dedicated efforts of counsellors, police personnel, NGOs, legal aid institutions and partner organisations involved in this initiative.
