Stay Fit!!


Cyberabad Police Commissioner C.V.Anand advised the police officers and personnel to practice exercises to maintain fitness and health. He inspected the running track under construction at Cyberabad Commissionerate. Later, speaking to the police officers, Anand said that CTC training batch, police officials and gunmen can utilise the running track.Coinciding with the ensuing ‘Haritha Haram’, about 1,200 saplings were planted along the 2.5-km track.

Cyberabad Police Honors its Police Officers & Men

The Cyberabad Police recognizes the efforts of officers & Men who performed outstanding work in Crime Prevention, detection, maintenance of public order.  Every quarter, Best police officer & men are identified and are awarded with appreciation letter and cash reward by the Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad. During the 2nd quarter of 2016 (153) police men and officers ((11) Inspectors, (34) SIs/RSIs, (4) ASIs, (21) HCs, (61) PCs, (4) WPCs, (6) Home Guards, (2) Out sourcing and (1) senior Assistant) are identified and rewarded on 10.06.2016 at CP Office with certificates and cash rewards ranging from Rs. 1000/- to Rs. 5000/-.

The best efforts of above officers and men resulted in 20% reduction in over all crime of Cyberabad and also the CCS police recovered property worth 4.88 crores in the 1st quarter.  Because of the great efforts of other wings, the fares, festivals, VIP & VVIP BB Duties, IPL matches during the 1st quarter went off incident free and total peaceful. CP Cyberabad appreciated all the above recipients and rewarded them with appreciation letters and cash rewards.      

Cyberabad Traffic Police introduces ‘Eye worn Cameras’ for the first time in India

Following the introduction of body worn cameras for Traffic officers 2 years ago, the Cyberabad Traffic Police  introduced ‘7 Eye worn cameras’ for its officers. These cameras are worn as Goggles and are fixed to the right of the frame and have the advantage of capturing pictures as they are seen by the eye of the Traffic officer. This is the first time any police force is using eye worn cameras in duty. They are sturdy and have recording facility for both audio & video. With  32 GB internal memory it  can record upto 21 Hours continuously.


 In addition to the 25, additionally 75 Body Worn Cameras have been procured by Cyberabad Police to be used by enforcement officers while working to capture the interaction with public. The footage is also recorded and fed into the PS computers every day. This will supplement the existing Video and digital Cameras. This Camera is worn on the body and will prevent allegations of bad or suspicious behave on part of the Police Officers, apart from keeping a watch on conduct of the 


-> Tabs: Tabs were distributed to all enforcement officers to carry and enforcement without having to use books etc.

-> Kit Bags: Traffic Police in their line of duty are constantly exposed to the elements of weather as well as pollution. While the duty is such that not much option is there to modify the working environment, as effort is being made to mitigate the effect as far as possible by issuing kits containing the following.

Each Kit Bag Contains:
a) SHOE
b) WATER BOTTLE 
c) SUN GLASS
d) NOSE MASK
e) REFLECTIVE JACKET
f) RAIN COAT

All hands together nabbed chain snatchers

Cyberabad Police Commissioner C.V.Anand appreciated the efforts of citizens, patrolling team, homeguard and command control personnel who played an active role in catching two chain snatchers. 

Community involvement in policing is needed for a peaceful society. It also strengthens the relation between police and public and serves as a gateway for effective exchange of information.Rumour mongering, sensitive disputes can be cleared off easily and  police can handle the problems arising out of thin resources more  efficiently.

Five Zonal Clues Teams in Cyberabad

TODAY ON.06.06.2016 SRI.C.V. ANAND IPS, COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, CYBERABAD INAUGRATED FIVE ZONAL CLUES TEAMS. 

The five Zonal Clues Teams in Cyberabad are created to respond faster to the calls from the Police Stations and reaching the crime scenes immediately to prevent the damage of physical evidence and left them for assisting in investigation work.

OBJECTIVES: 

1. To reach the crime scene faster by responding to calls from Police Stations  
    Across Cyberabad in the shortest time.
2. To divide the work among various Zonal teams and prevent wastage of time.
3. For better and efficient management of staff and resources.
4. Collect the physical evidence without being disturbed.


TEAM PARTICULARS:

Each Zonal Clues Team comprises of (02) PCs, (02) HGs & (02) Drivers with a four wheeler vehicles, out of which a PC, HG & Driver will work on a (24) hours shift. The teams have undergone one-week training at TSFSL in the various divisions for preservation, gathering & shifting to the laboratory the various material objects of biological, serological, toxic ballistic, physical & documentary evidence encountered in various crime scenes. They are also issued kits used for handling all kinds of material evidence which are latest in technology. The teams also underwent training in developing, lifting and photography of latent finger prints along with the crime scene reconstruction.

FUNCTIONS:

(1) Preservation of crime scene.
(2) Recording of the crime scene using videography and photography by using   
       Modern technology.
(3) Developing, photography and lifting of latent finger prints in crime scene
(4) Collection, packing and shifting material objects (maintaining proper chain
      of custody) to the laboratory for analysis, there by helping the investigating   
      Police in detection and conviction of cases.
