Mr.Anand focused his attention on corrupted Sub-Inspectors and Inspectors. A Large number of sub-inspectors and inspectors were transferred to various different places and shifting the officers in large numbers is first time in Andhra Pradesh.
Top priority is given for re-organisation, functioning of the department and also to establish good relation with the general public. Mr.Anand was in- charge of Vijayawada Police Commissionerate during this period. He worked for few months in this post and many good changes happened during his tenure.
-> Marine police stations in Kakinada, Machilipatnam.
-> Personally followed up promotions of 1991 batch SIs and promoted them as CIs.
-> Security requirements proposals initiated for Polavaram Project.
