Career Highlights: Additional SP(Warangal Rural), ASP Bellampalli

As ASP Warangal - Tenure: 1993 to December 1995 

-> Busted a gang involved in printing counterfeit currency notes.

-> A team led by Mr.Anand seized a major consignment containing different types of weapons that were sent by a naxal group in Muzaffarnagar in Uttarpradesh to another dalam(group) in Andhra Pradesh.Weapons were loaded in railway goods service in the form of two parcels. 

Mr.CV Anand along with his team swung into action to track the parcels.Police team travelled all the way to  Muzaffarpur-Gorakhpur-Lucknow-Khanpur-Delhi-Itarsi-Vijayawada and  discussed with the issue railway authorities.Finally they had collected the parcels  in  Vijayawada and reached Warangal.The then chief Minister N.T.Ramarao appreciated the efforts of the police.

-> A group of police personnel led by Additional Superintendent of Police(rural) CV Anand  summoned all the political leaders of the area to a road side meeting at Sangem mandal headquarters as part of the inquiry into the election related clashes. While the public watched in astonishment, police counselled politicians who involved in the violent incidents. This instilled confidence among people and refrained politicians from involving in violent acts.

-> Intensified patrolling to control the activities of extremists.He led the patrolling parties from the front.

As ASP Bellampalli - Tenure: December 1995 to August 1996

-> Courageously participated in various encounters  in which Mr.Anand

     narrowly escaped from death.The encounter that took place  in Coal Chemical 

     Complex on the outskirts of Mancherial town is one such breath taking

      incident.

-> Played main role in recovering money in "Marriage fund scheme" scam of Rs 3

     crore and returned the money  to the rightful owners.
