Maoist State Committee Member Kakarala Samatha Surrenders

 Maoist State Committee member Kakarala Samatha surrendered before the Telangana Police at Mulugu. She joined the organisation as a party member in 1985, became an Area Committee member in 1991 and was elevated to the District Committee in 1994 and the State Committee in 2003.In accordance with the Telangana Government’s surrender and rehabilitation policy, the eligible reward amount of ₹20 lakh was handed over to her through a cheque.

DGP Sri C.V. Anand appealed to the remaining three active Maoist cadres from Telangana to surrender, return to the mainstream and avail themselves of the benefits and support available under the State Government’s surrender and rehabilitation policy.
