Telangana DGP Sri C.V. Anand visited the 5th Battalion near Mulugu and reviewed its infrastructure, housing and other welfare-related issues with the ADG, Battalions, Commandant and senior officers. He also interacted with personnel and heard their concerns relating to housing, transfers, duty allotments, health schemes and other welfare matters.
The DGP stressed the need for transparency in duty allotments and transfers and emphasised that diligence in assigned duties, quick mobilisation and timely deployment are essential for operational readiness. He urged personnel to stay away from drugs and online betting, protect their families from these harmful habits and actively support the anti-narcotics campaign.
He also informed the personnel about the Employee Health Scheme that will be rolled out shortly to further strengthen the welfare of police personnel and their families.
