New plans afoot: DGP

 CV Anand held a series of meetings today regarding the formation of the new TTMARS (Telangana Traffic Management and Road Safety Bureau), the Telangana Anti-Drug and Safety Clubs (TADASC), and the Vigilance and Enforcement Wing (VEEW). Discussions focused on various aspects of the Government Orders (GOs) to be issued for these initiatives and the manpower to be allocated for their operationalization, including the redeployment of personnel from the Greyhounds, OCTOPUS, SIB, and Security Wing.

The meetings involved extensive brainstorming with officers and resulted in several fruitful deliberations. Discussions were also held on the possible creation of a dedicated Anti-Food Adulteration Wing in view of the increasing number of cancer cases being reported in the State.
