CP reviews East and South East Zone prepardness for the forthcoming Ganesh immersion , Milad festivities

 Today, Sri. C. V. Anand, IPS, DG and Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, conducted a review meeting on Ganesh immersion security arrangements with officials from the East Zone and South East Zone at the East Zone DCP office, Amberpet. During the meeting, the Commissioner instructed the officials on the security measures to be taken for maintaining law and order during the Ganesh festivities and for ensuring a smooth immersion process.

Speaking at the meeting, Sri C. V. Anand, IPS, DG and Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, stressed the need to prioritize security and prevent any untoward incidents during the immersion. He suggested that local police and volunteers should maintain constant vigilance to prevent crimes such as the theft of 'laddus' from the idols. He also stated that special surveillance should be placed on the movements of troublemakers and 'rowdy sheeters', and that idol vehicles coming from neighboring areas like Rachakonda Commissionerates should have proper police escort. He further advised that organizers or volunteers must be present at the idols during the night.


The shortcomings during Ganesh idol immersion were also discussed. A plan of action for the quick immersion of Ganesh idols was deliberated upon, and the Commissioner gave necessary instructions to the officials.

The review meeting was attended by Sri. B. Balaswamy, IPS (DCP, East Zone), Smt. K. Apoorva Rao, IPS (DCP, S.B.), Sri. S. Chaitanya Kumar, DCP South East Zone, Sri. Narasaiah, Additional DCP, East Zone, Sri.Ande Srinivasa Rao Addl DCP Task force,  Sri. Srikanth, Additional DCP South East Zone,  all police station officials from both zones (East and South East Zones) and other officers
