CP held executive court

 Today i.e. on 18.07.2025, the DG,Commissioner of Police & Addl.District Magistrate (Executive), Hyderabad Police Commissionerate, Sri C.V. Anand, IPS held the executive Court at  Kotwal House Office, Purani Haveli, Hyderabad in connection with the ongoing rivalry between various (8) gangs of rowdy sheeters/notorious criminals in South, South East and South West Zones of Hyderabad to assert dominance in the area. The Hon’ble Addl. District Magistrate examined the information placed before the Court by the SHOs/ACsP concerned of South, South East and South West Zones. The detailed reports highlighted multiple instances of violent clashes especially murders, attempt to murder perpetrated by the above gangs in retaliation to avenge revenge against each in these zones.

Key Incidents Examined:

1. Mirchowk PS (South Zone) 

• Rivalry between Group-A (led by Syed Abdul Khader @ Afroz) and Group-B (led by Syed Murtuza Ali Baqari)

• In connection with murder of Najaf Ali (rowdy sheeter of Chaderghat PS), leading to ongoing attempts by both gangs to eliminate each other.

2. Kalapathar PS (South Zone) 

• Group-A (led by Mohd Asad) and Group-B (led by Mohd Khader Hussain @ Chota Ashwak)

• Clash over murder of Syed Faqruddin @ Rafeeq and retaliatory attacks involving family members.

3. Bandlaguda PS (South East Zone) 

• Long-standing feud starting from 2018 resulting in multiple murders including Kala Imran and Khadeer Khan.

• Gang rivalry persists with violent intentions from both sides.

4. Kanchanbagh PS (South East Zone) 

• Gangs led by Mohd Iliyas and Baba Shingtay @ Baba Shinde.

• Ongoing violence rooted in abduction and murder of Vishal Shingtay, 

5. Santosh Nagar PS (South East Zone) 

• Once allies, gangs led by Syed Imran @ Hanuman Imran and Syed Ateeq turned rivals over drug-related suspicions.

6. Mangalhat PS (South West Zone) 

• Assault case involving Manmohan Singh and associates against Surendar Singh @ Surru, part of prolonged enmity.

7. Asif Nagar PS (South West Zone) 

• Retaliatory murders between gangs led by Syed Taher and Mohd Azam Shareef @ Ajju.

8. Golconda PS (South West Zone)  

• Violent rivalry between Ahmed Ali Khan @ Ashraf Ashu and members of a rival group over a ₹2 lakh financial dispute.

• Involvement in real estate conflicts and illegal possession of firearms.

In today’s court proceedings, the respondents of 8 gangs were individually heard and given an opportunity to present their themselves and the CP, Hyderabad reprimanded respondents of both groups of these gangs and settle issues amicably with their elders and well-wishers by refraining from such unlawful activities which disturbing the peace and tranquility in the area, lest stringent action shall be initiated against gang members including Externment from Hyderabad city. The court was adjourned for next hearing.

Further the CP, Hyderabad reiterated that, If any person or groups, one or more who likely to commit an act that result into disturbing the peace and public tranquility in the area, shall be bound over u/s 126 BNSS, 2023 by directing them to execute bond for keeping the peace in the said area for a given period of time, provided such an act is likely to disturb public peace or tranquility at large.
