HNEW teams rewarded

 Today, Sri. CV Anand, IPS, Director General & Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, recognized the outstanding work of the Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (HNEW) police personnel and presented them with certificates of appreciation and cash prizes at the Police Commissioner’s Office, Basheer Bagh.

In particular, Sri. GS Daniel Shanti Kumar, Inspector of HNEW Team-1, and Sri. K. Srinivas, Inspector of HNEW Team-II, along with their (80) respective team members, were awarded for their commendable work in the field of narcotics. The teams were presented with certificates and cash rewards for successfully solving 36 cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, including the arrest of three major drug kingpins within the jurisdiction of the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate. This recognition highlights their exceptional performance and high level of professionalism.

Sri. CV Anand, IPS, Director General & Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, appreciated the dedication of the Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing and their pivotal role in combating the drug trade in the city. He also commended the officers for adopting skillful investigative techniques and working within the bounds of the law.

“The successful resolution of these 36 important drug cases, including those involving major drug kingpins, is a powerful testament to the professionalism and hard work of the HNEW Wing personnel,” said Commissioner Anand.
