The Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, chaired the Executive Committee meeting of the Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) today, which reflected significant progress after many years. In recent weeks, the CP has been holding sector-wise meetings with establishment owners from pharma, hospitals, jewellery, malls, cinema and other sectors, explaining how HCSC serves as an effective platform for private–government collaboration in strengthening public safety.
Through forums on anti-narcotics, cyber security, women safety, traffic and physical security, the Council is bringing together collective responsibility and practical solutions. The response has been highly encouraging, with over 150 new members enrolling and the financial strength of the council showing notable growth.
With the support of leading firms, 120 new traffic marshals and 50 new traffic bikes have also been sponsored. The CP expressed confidence that these initiatives will further strengthen the city’s safety ecosystem in the days ahead.
