VC held with all officers ahead of Holi & Ramadan festivities

 Today, City Police Commissioner Mr.CV Anand held a video conference with the Hyderabad City Police officers. Speaking on the occasion, he said that after about 35 years, the Holi festival and the second Friday of the month of  Ramzan have come on the same day.  All  officers were alerted and explained them about the various facets of the challenges they will face tonight during the kamuni dahanam programmes and simultaneous Isha namaz and Tarabi prayers and the type of bandobust and patrolling they need to do. 

"Then tomorrow we all need to be very alert for the Holi festivities and movements and almost simultaneous afternoon Jumma Asr namaz Friday prayers of Ramadan month " he said. 

Senior officers also discussed the steps  need to take and deployments to be done to secure the city and maintain peace and order .

"All senior officers including me and all Addl / joint and DCP s will be on duty till tomorrow evening. We have appealed to peace committee members to chip in and help out the police." said CP Anand.
