HCSC team meets owners of big hotels to expand its outreach

 

The Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) has taken a significant step toward making its platform more broad-based by engaging with key stakeholders.As part of this initiative, HCSC recently held a meeting with leading hotel owners in Hyderabad. 

During the meeting, HCSC Honorary Chairman Mr.CV Anand , CP -Hyderabad and other office bearers  highlighted the uniqueness of the council as a robust Public-Private Partnership (PPP) platform, emphasizing the need for hotels to become active stakeholders in maintaining peace, law, and order. Officials presented various proactive measures undertaken by the Hyderabad Police to make the city the safest in India, including the extensive CCTV surveillance network, cutting-edge policing technologies, and advanced crime detection and traffic management systems.

The hotel owners expressed their appreciation for the efforts being made and agreed to join HCSC as members. They committed to actively participating in key initiatives, including cybersecurity, women’s safety, narcotics control, traffic management, and physical security.

Following the discussions, the attendees were given a live demonstration at the Integrated Command & Control Centre (iCCC).This engagement with the hospitality sector marks the beginning of HCSC’s broader outreach strategy. The council plans to extend its collaboration to other critical industry verticals, including pharmaceuticals, entertainment, jewelry etc.,
