During the visit, he toured the office premises, following which Director General Swati Lakra and her team made a presentation detailing the force’s functioning, resources, deployment, and the issues being faced, including matters pending with the government.
It was noted that the Special Protection Force operates on the model of the Central Industrial Security Force, where tMr.Anand had earlier served on central deputation for four years, overseeing the airport sector as well as the west and south sectors, in addition to the National Industrial Security Academy.
Drawing on his experience, he shared suggestions with the officers on enhancing the effectiveness of the Special Protection Force and strengthening its role.
