"Attended the shraddhanjali programme of former DGP HJ Dora organised by family members and was very well attended by many retired DGPs and senior police officers and friends and family members. I had volunteered to speak and spoke in detail about his leadership qualities where he led the war against Maoists from the front amidst grave threat to his own life , his excellent communication skills with the lowest ranks of the force, his teamsmanship and welfare orientation , the inner dynamics of the famous AP model of tackling Maoism created by him and how as an ASP, Addl SP and SP Nizamabad for the first decade of my career, we all executed that strategy to rid the state of this menace.
Later in the CISF he saved the existence of the force itself by volunteering to take over the security of airports after the Kandahar hijacking episode . If you have the patience, please see the video
