Reward Mela: 706 Police Personnel rewarded

 Hyderabad City Police organized a Mega Reward program for the entire year of 2024.  706 officers /staff have been recognized who have contributed significantly in detection, apprehensions and disposal of cases and rewarded for their good work during the year 2024. This includes (6-Addl.DCP, 13-ACP, 73-Inspectors, 83-SIs, 12-Asst. SIs, 86-Head Constables, 334 - Police Constables, 29-Home Guards, 64 Ministerial staff and 6- Public Prosecutors and Asst. PPs.) 

Taking the new age challenges being faced by the CCS and Cyber Crimes into consideration, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City has instituted Commissioner’s Trophy to recognize good work done by the Special Wings.   For the year 2024, Commissioner’s Trophy for Best Investigation Team has been awarded to EOW Team – I of CCS, lead by Sri. Y. Harish Kumar, ACP, Sri. D. Ram Babu, Inspector, SIs Sri. S. Ravi Kumar, Sri. B. Jayanth.

For Cyber Crimes, Commissioner’s Trophy for Best Investigation Team has been awarded to the Team lead by Sri. K. Madhusudhan Rao Inspector, SIs, K. Venkatesh, Ch. Mahipal, Speaking on the occasion, the Police Commissioner appreciated the untiring efforts of the Police in Hyderabad city in maintaining law and order in the city.  He said “The City with over 80 lakh population with various kind of criminals and serving justice to all of them is a near to impossible task but yet our Policemen are excelling in it. We all are very busy every day with some or the other bandobast / Security arrangements.  Whenever, there is any crime committed in the city, we respond immediately without any delay and solve the cases as soon as possible. It is because of our efforts that we put together as a team, Hyderabad City Police is winning applauds and earned a significant reputation in the country. The untiring hard work by our men with their dedication towards their duties has paved the way for the peace and tranquility in the society.” 

Further, the CP, Hyderabad stated that there has been a rapid rise in the population moving around late nights and businesses which are running 24/7.  Providing security and serving the city with just 16000 policemen is a huge challenge and yet our policemen are performing well.  CP, Hyderabad City appreciated the dedication and commitment of the officers in performing their duties and congratulated the winners / rewardees for their significant contribution and exceptional dedication in performing their duties and detection of cases.
