CV Anand, IPS DG & Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City. Hyderabad Police Commissionerate Sports and Games Meet 2025 was inaugurated today at Gosha Mahal Police Stadium in the presence of Smt. Saina Nehwal, Sri P. Kashyap, Indian Badminton players, Sri. CV Anand, IPS DG & Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad.
On this occasion, the march fast organized by the police sportspersons was marked by the presence of Ms. Saina Nehwal, Sri P. Kashyap, Indian Badminton players, and Sri CV Anand, IPS DG & Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, who hoisted the sports flag, released pigeons and balloons into the sky, and lit the Police Sports Flame. The sports and games organized for men and women were inaugurated on the occasion of the opening ceremony of these games.
Sri CV Anand, IPS CP, Hyderabad, said that the 2025 Annual Sports & Games Meet is being organized in 14 contingents with 24 different sports and games. The Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, has urged the police to stand with the inspiration of the Indian badminton players, Ms. Saina Nehwal and Mr. P. Kashyap, who excel in sports and games, despite the high pressure of their duties.
He suggested that the Police Sports and Games Meet should be held every year as a regular event. He said that participating in sports should not be considered a waste of time. He said that this will help motivate the police and promote their skills. He said that this time, due to the large number of teams, we are holding it for 4 days.
I am also a sportsman. If I bat, I have to score a century, and if I run, I have to win a gold medal in the hundred meters. If I lose in games, I won't be able to sleep that night, the commissioner said. He said that we should have competitiveness and perseverance.
The Police Commissioner congratulated the players who participated enthusiastically in these games, as well as the sports organizers. Sri Parupalli Kashyap said that the police job is a very tough job, and you will be healthy and alert by participating in sports competitions. You all can pay attention to fitness.
Ms. Saina Nehwal, - said that I love any kind of sports. I feel very proud when I play for India. There are many talented people in our country. Everyone should play sports and be fit. I am happy to be invited to this sports meet. Participating in sports keeps the mind very fresh, she said.
