CP conveyed his thanks to the community members of all religions

           The Hyderabad City Police would like to thank the community members of Hindu, Muslim & Sikh religions   for their support and cooperation during Navratri,Bathukamma, Duseera,  Milad-Un-Nabi  and other processions. 

        Maintaining communal amity, self-discipline and positive response of the religious clerics, peace committee members paved way for the peaceful conclusion of the festivals. After two years of covid induced lull, this time the participation of devotees of all religions in their respective festivities has increased.This was seen during SriRamnavami, Hanuman Jayanthi, Ganesh, Ramzan-Eid, Bakrid and Muharram festivals too . But on all occasions the people of Hyderabad exemplarily displayed the communal amity of respecting each other’s festivals .

   Coordination meetings, elaborate security & traffic arrangements, involvement of volunteers had resulted in zero incidents throughout the year and people of all faiths celebrated the festivals with gaiety and fervour. The appreciation coming from netizens in social media stands as a testimonial for the seamless co-ordination between the police & public.

“We appreciate all  those throughout the city  who have shown their support. You care about our city , and because you continually cooperate with  the Govt and police department, Hyderabad  remains a historically diverse and harmonious city , the best and safest city in the country “Said CP Anand. “we  could uphold the Ganga-Jamuna Tehzeeb  and keep the city  safe amidst lot of other events happening which threatened the peace of this city. The outpouring of support has been graciously overwhelming. Thank you all so much.  ”  He added.

Propelled by steel resolve, all officers in city police ranging from Home guard to the City Police chief worked relentlessly round the clock. Despite missing festival celebrations with family & friends, the absolute involvement and dedication of the officers remained high.  The patrol units intensified their activities across all the neighbourhoods and maintained public order on the roads. Field level deputed at religious places managed the crowds in queue-lines, and ensured the processions concluded peacefully. 

The traffic wing made meticulous planning in orchestrating diversions, restrictions and keeping the carriage way clear through operation “ROPE” and simultaneously tackled the heavy rains. The city police which is further structured into numerous  units like Special Branch, Social Media & IT, taskforce worked hard and delivered the expected work turn out and played crucial role in the backend. HCP chief Mr.CV Anand  appreciated the efforts of all police officers and congratulated them.
