Five Zonal Clues Teams in Cyberabad

TODAY ON.06.06.2016 SRI.C.V. ANAND IPS, COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, CYBERABAD INAUGRATED FIVE ZONAL CLUES TEAMS. 

The five Zonal Clues Teams in Cyberabad are created to respond faster to the calls from the Police Stations and reaching the crime scenes immediately to prevent the damage of physical evidence and left them for assisting in investigation work.

OBJECTIVES: 

1. To reach the crime scene faster by responding to calls from Police Stations  

    Across Cyberabad in the shortest time.

2. To divide the work among various Zonal teams and prevent wastage of time.

3. For better and efficient management of staff and resources.

4. Collect the physical evidence without being disturbed.

TEAM PARTICULARS:

Each Zonal Clues Team comprises of (02) PCs, (02) HGs & (02) Drivers with a four wheeler vehicles, out of which a PC, HG & Driver will work on a (24) hours shift. The teams have undergone one-week training at TSFSL in the various divisions for preservation, gathering & shifting to the laboratory the various material objects of biological, serological, toxic ballistic, physical & documentary evidence encountered in various crime scenes. They are also issued kits used for handling all kinds of material evidence which are latest in technology. The teams also underwent training in developing, lifting and photography of latent finger prints along with the crime scene reconstruction.

FUNCTIONS:

(1) Preservation of crime scene.

(2) Recording of the crime scene using videography and photography by using   

       Modern technology.

(3) Developing, photography and lifting of latent finger prints in crime scene

(4) Collection, packing and shifting material objects (maintaining proper chain

      of custody) to the laboratory for analysis, there by helping the investigating   

      Police in detection and conviction of cases.
