Cyberabad Traffic Police introduces ‘Eye worn Cameras’ for the first time in India

Following the introduction of body worn cameras for Traffic officers 2 years ago, the Cyberabad Traffic Police  introduced ‘7 Eye worn cameras’ for its officers. These cameras are worn as Goggles and are fixed to the right of the frame and have the advantage of capturing pictures as they are seen by the eye of the Traffic officer. This is the first time any police force is using eye worn cameras in duty. They are sturdy and have recording facility for both audio & video. With  32 GB internal memory it  can record upto 21 Hours continuously.


 In addition to the 25, additionally 75 Body Worn Cameras have been procured by Cyberabad Police to be used by enforcement officers while working to capture the interaction with public. The footage is also recorded and fed into the PS computers every day. This will supplement the existing Video and digital Cameras. This Camera is worn on the body and will prevent allegations of bad or suspicious behave on part of the Police Officers, apart from keeping a watch on conduct of the 


-> Tabs: Tabs were distributed to all enforcement officers to carry and enforcement without having to use books etc.

-> Kit Bags: Traffic Police in their line of duty are constantly exposed to the elements of weather as well as pollution. While the duty is such that not much option is there to modify the working environment, as effort is being made to mitigate the effect as far as possible by issuing kits containing the following.

Each Kit Bag Contains:
a) SHOE
b) WATER BOTTLE 
c) SUN GLASS
d) NOSE MASK
e) REFLECTIVE JACKET
f) RAIN COAT
