Coordination meeting held with community members ahead of Bakrid

 Ahead of Bakrid, Hyderabad City police commissioner Mr.CV Anand held a coordination meeting with GHMC & animal husbandry department officers, Muslim clerics, Qureshis at Salar Jung Museum. In the cordial tone meeting, the Muslim clerics and the public representatives appealed to their brethren to dispose the animal viscera properly to keep the streets clean and cooperate with the police. “Its our collective responsibility to upheld the Ganga-Jamuna Tehzeeb of our city and maintain peace.” said the peace committee members. 

GHMC Joint Commissioner Smt.Sailaja apprised the meeting about the sanitation measures being done up by GHMC. Additional sanitation teams and garbage collecting vehicles will be deployed in wards and masjids. “ Garbage bags will be kept ready,  and all our officers will be at your service,” she said.

The attendees assured to cooperate with city police and comply the safety instructions shared by the police. Addressing the meeting, City police commissioner Mr. CV Anand assured that only police personnel, GHMC and animal husbandry staff will man the check posts. “Instructions were given to all officers to take foolproof security and traffic management measures. Patrolling will be intensified and the force will be on stand to.” he said. 

“Comprising all department officers- Local, zonal, and commissionerate level coordination groups were formed for better liaising,” he concluded. 

The officials also took note of the problems reported during the meeting and assured resolving at the earliest.
