CP conducted a video conference with all police personnel

City police commissioner Mr.CV Anand held a video conference with all SHOs and above rank officers.also in attendance were all the available staff HG s, constables of the police stations CP informed them that a brief health survey of all police stations of west zone has revealed that almost 60 % of the staff are suffering from either diabetes , high BP or other life style diseases and their BMI s are beyond reasonable limits A health programme is being initiated for the entire 17,000 commissionerate staff wherein ,firstly a master check up will be done and then the correct diet ,daily exercise and daily monitoring of health parameters will be done with an App which is being developed and will be launched soon . Spouses of all will also be involved in this process. 

 The CP warned all the SHOs and Officers regarding growing organised crime in some areas and proliferation of gaming dens , hookah and cross massage parlours . He informed that the connivance of sultan bazaar police has been found in registration of several gambling den cases by task force and also abuse of law in civil disputes which has led to suspension of the SHO Bixapathi and cautioned everyone that no one will be spared on this count He asked all officers to focus on spurious seeds , installation of new and repair of old Cctv s , ACP and above rank officers to be available for petitioners from 3 to 5 pm daily and asked them to put up boards accordingly for public to know . Addl cp L and O Chauhan, addl CP crimes Srinivas , Jt cp traffic Ranganath and Jt cp Vishwaprasad solenabout their topics and alerted everyone He made a detailed review on crime control, L&O, enforcement of city police act , patrolling systems. CP stressed on the need to control Gambling activities, Hukka parlours and pubs. 

While reiterating state Govt’s firm stand on controlling the illicit trafficking and drug abuse, he exhorted all officers to take measures in their respective jurisdictions to make the city free from the scourge of organised crime. “No individual is permitted to take out rallies or permissions without prior permission. The required permissions and renewals for various on street activities has to be obtained.Public order on roads shouldn’t be disrupted by anyone.” Said the CP while instructing on the effective enforcement of city police act.

 All officers were told to remain alert on sensitive communal issues that are often triggered through social media. As the spread of virus has gone down, it has been decided to restart the Cordon & Search operations in all zones. 

To increase the coverage, new CCTVs installation at vital points will resume with the help of community and corporate sponsors. Traffic officials were instructed to initiate monsoon preparedness and ensure all the tools & machines are functional and available to clear the water logging points swiftly and chalking out contingency diversion plans.

 They were also apprised to enforce city police act effectively to tackle the wrong parking issue that often leads to traffic congestion. 

 Enhancing internal operations efficiency, communication network, personnel matters and other administrative issues were discussed in detail. Police commissioner appreciated all the officers for their outstanding efforts in handling a series of religious processions, bandobusts , tackling agitations and other sensitive issues in the previous month.
