With the Hyderabad leg of Indian Premier League (IPL) set to begin at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium on Saturday, heavy police cover is being deployed as a precautionary measure. According to Cyberabad Police Commissioner C.V.Anand, this will also include regulation of traffic.

RGICS will host seven Sunrisers Hyderabad matches- April 16, 18, 23, 26, April 30, May 6 and 12. Personnel of Cyberabad Security Wing, Law and Order, traffic, two OCTOPUS units, and five platoons of Armed Forces along with Special Branch and Central Crime Station staff would be deployed at the stadium on match days, he told reporters here on Thursday.

However, physically challenged spectator scan enter the stadium from Ramanthapur road through gate no 3 (Service Entry) and park their vehicles at parking place B.

On match days, heavy vehicles coming from LB Nagar and Warangal would not be allowed towards Habsiguda from 2pm, while  heavy vehicles coming from ECIL, Kushaiguda and Cherlapally towards Uppal X roads will be diverted via Mallapur Bridge, Chengicherla X roads and LB Nagar junctions.
