Road accidents and deaths have increased. The commissioner said ongoing Metro works across the city was one of the major reasons for the increase in accidents. “Places where Metro works have been completed are left without any barricades or dividers. We wrote to the Metro Rail authorities to provide a solution and they are working on it,” the commissioner added.

"7,000 police men to safeguard 7,00,000 population.Thin resource at hand and still our men worked efficiently in all aspects of policing. No custodial deaths, highest property recovery in the state, Smooth functioning in Law & Order wings, reduced corruption, New infrastructure projects, New tools, New Apps, New initiatives. All together yielded good results." he added.

Cyberabad police commissioner C.V.Anand said that their policy of “effective policing” had encouraged more people to come forward to lodge complaints, resulting in the increase of registered cases.
