IKEA officials interacted with Cyberabad Police

IKEA, a multinational group of companies that designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture is planning to set up its first store in India in Cyberabad. Today IKEA officials interacted with Cyberabad Police Commissioner C.V.Anand to know about the policing system.
Mr.Anand briefed out the innovative projects that are being implemented in Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. He assured that it is a safe place to conduct business and briefed about the advanced surveillance systems too.
"SCSC is playing a key role in bridging the gap between the Government and IT companies. Intensive patrolling in IT-corridor, check posts, CCTV surveillance and other safety measures prevented unusual incidents." he added.

New watch tower at Wipro Junction
A well-resourced police watch tower with modern traffic monitoring mechanism was inaugurated at Wipro Junction under Cyberabad Police Commissionerate limits here today.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner C.V.Anand inaugurated the new Traffic Surveillance Tower and an Audio-Visual Van (AV Van). He said using technologically advanced monitoring system in traffic patrolling would facilitate in enhancing the security system in the IT corridor.
Anand appreciated the support provided by the IT industry in partnering with Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) in launching such initiatives.
"We had been persuading commercial establishments, apartment buildings and institutions to install CCTV cameras." he added.

New Year Celebrations at Cyberabad Commissionerate

Cyberabad Police Commissioner C.V.Anand welcomed the New Year by cutting a cake. He unveiled the Diary and calendar. Mr.Anand inaugurated a Telegram Channel for Cyberabad Police Officers Association. This would be used for broadcasting messages internally.
"Every one of us should explore and learn new technologies to overcome problems arising out of thin resources. Ministerial staff should update themselves in various areas and clear the files immediately." said C.V.Anand.
"When compared to other departments we work hard and visible on roads at any point of time. We have been requesting the Government to provide extra facilities and hike in salaries." he added.
