CP strives to revive past glory of CCS

 

Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Shri CV Anand on Monday instructed CCS personnel  to review the pending cases of crime against women while stressing upon timely disposal to minimise the pendency of cases. Anand’s instructions came during a review meeting at CCS with all  the officers to discuss the Crime and  other aspects of policing.

As there is an urgent need for more efficient investigation in Narcotics cases, CP announced that entire police personnel working in PSs will be imparted specialised training to deal with Narcotics investigations.

“The rise in Cyber Crime, economic offences should be dealt effectively  by reorganising our crime control and investigation strategies. Tools and technologies should be extensively used to trace the suspects and apprehend them," the Commissioner's instructions read.

He instructed that CCS  personnel should not be assigned other duties unless urgent. He stressed that the CCS will be given due importance in allotment of resources and vehicles and the officers should work hard to regain its lost glory by avoiding any type of complaints against its functioning . He took a detailed tour of the entire building and interacted with each of the staff and officers .He reviewed all pendencies. 

“Zonal crime teams  wil be formed soon and all the required infrastructure, vehicles  will be provided to them soon.We will enhance police visibility on ground  ” said the CP.  

Mr.AR Srinivas, Addl.CP Crimes, Gajarao Bhupal, Jt.CP CCS and other officers were present.
