State Police Sports meet - HCP medal winners felicitated

  The Hyderabad City Police showcased remarkable performance at the State-Level Police Sports Meet held in Karimnagar. Around 236 police personnel from HCP competed across 26 disciplines, bagging  an impressive tally of 67 Gold, 32 Silver, and 23 Bronze medals, along with 9 overall championship titles.

Today, Mr. CV Anand, DG & Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, felicitated the medal winners and congratulated them. A sportsman himself, Mr. Anand acknowledged the dedication, and rigorous training required to excel in sports while balancing hectic police duties. He also emphasized the mental resilience needed to perform under pressure, especially during finals.

Reflecting on his own experiences as an athlete during his school and college years, CP  Anand highlighted how sports cultivate discipline, teamwork, and the ability to navigate life’s challenges. He reiterated that physically fit personnel with a strong sporting mindset are better equipped to handle the demands of police service.

Encouraging the athletes to excel in the upcoming All India Police Sports Meet, he assured them of full administrative support.

HCSC EC meeting held

 CP CV Anand, also the honorary chairman of HCSC(Hyderabad City Security Council),  held the HCSC EC meeting   to decide on new memberships. He also reviewed the HACK2.0 summit on cyber crime held in November , and the conduct of the next few summits - Traffic , Narcotics, Women Safety and Security summits - in the next 6-7 months.The activity of the various forums was reviewed and improvements suggested.
