Mr.CV Anand, Director General Anti-Corruption Bureau, who also heads the Vigilance & Enforcement Department held a comprehensive review of the entire V&E Departmet today and urged the officers to strive to fulfill the department’s objective of detecting the diversion of public money in government programmes,probing the matters accurately and giving sound suggestions to government on what steps to take.
He also reviewed performance of each zone, and discussed the reorganisation of the department. He also opined that the manuals which were all written in the 1990s need lot of updation.
